Moderator for well-thought-out events in IT and Tech
Many technology events don't fail because of the topic. They fail because there is nobody on stage who genuinely understands the material and is still able to lead the room.
That's the gap where Ferry van Saalbach comes in.
He gets involved with the content from day one, shapes the narrative and makes sure every message hits its mark. He even works with speakers in advance to ensure that everyone is set up to deliver their best. The result: panels that feel like real conversations.
Ferry thrives in complex, technical subject matter: AI, cybersecurity, cloud, IT strategy. But his real talent is getting up to speed on unfamiliar ground fast, and bridging the gap between worlds that don't usually speak the same language.
This comes naturally to him since he brings a rare mix to the stage: a former IT consultant who understands the technology from the inside. A former journalist and radio and TV producer who knows how to build a story and make it land. And a former sales director and senior manager at advertising agencies who knows about the message and its effect on the audience.
The result is moderation that is clear, grounded and composed, but alive to the energy in the room and ready to follow where the conversation leads. Live, hybrid or webinar. In German and in English.
Ferry van Saalbach has spent over 20 years on stage and in front of the camera. In late 2019 he became a full-time freelance moderator, working with clients including Bechtle, Silicon Saxony, AirITSystems and UGREEN.
What his clients particularly value: Ferry is a partner they can rely on, who thinks ahead and consistently spots things that can help make the event even better.
Ulrich Baisch, CIO of Bechtle AG, puts it well: "With Ferry as our moderator, our webinars reached a whole new level of quality. I would never have thought a moderator could make such an enormous difference."
More client testimonials are available on Google, LinkedIn and on his website, including video statements in his showreel.
