Jörg Wontorra

Sports journalist Jörg Wontorra is one of Germany's most popular presenters. His easy-going interview style, his charm and his love of criticism quickly stayed in the minds of viewers. He became famous through the ARD sports show and celebrated great success with programmes such as "ran" on SAT1 and the programme "Doppelpass", a football cult talk show that he hosted for over a decade and was even awarded the Bavarian Television Prize.

But Jörg Wontorra also feels at home in TV entertainment. With programmes such as "Extratour", "Kanapee" and "Bitte melde Dich" as well as appearances at numerous galas, he has proven his entertainment qualities.

In addition to the "Silberne Kugel" and the "Goldene Kamera", Jörg Wontorra also received the SportBILD Award for his life's work, as he has covered eight football World Cups and six Olympic Games to date.

He also trains young presenters and commentators, works as a producer and offers seminars for managers with his company.
