Maritime music & comedy duo
The Ladies AHOI! have created a 40-minute parade set from their two concert programmes with guaranteed atmosphere, which is perfect as a show interlude for your event. Sailor songs are mixed with hits from the 60s, 70s and 80s, and there is usually also a new German version, giving well-known songs a completely new and upbeat twist. Stylistically, the music lies between folk music, pop, musical, swing and rock and appeals to almost every listener.
The two musicians perform in cheeky, maritime outfits and accompany their singing themselves with accordion and guitar. The interplay between the two of them and the audience, the humorous choice of songs and cabaret-style lyrics guarantee fun and a good mood.
Alternatively, you can also book one of the two concert programmes:
City Tour
The first programme takes the audience on a seated tour of Hamburg through the last 100 years of music history. It is about the typical places of the harbour city and which songs are associated with them. Listen to pieces such as: "Tüdelband", "Leed von Grog", "Honka Song" or the "Caprifischer", songs by the Beatles, Richard Germer and Achim Reichel through to "Andrea Doria", "Dirty Dancing" including the famous lifting figure and "Happy" in Low German.
Pedalo in distress
The second concert programme is called "Tretboot in Seenot" (Pedalo in distress) and deals with shanties for advanced singers, chart hits with the theme "Water, waves and fish" and the favourite songs from the youth of the Ladies AHOI!, the 70s and 80s. You can look forward to oldies from the Rolling Stones, Abba, Modern Talking and Miss Menke. The accordion gives the songs an enchanting maritime flair.
Let the musical and acting professionalism of the Ladies AHOI! convince you. For the two musicians, the best thing is when their enthusiasm for old and new (sailor) songs spreads to the guests and they make your event a complete success.
