The mobile band MEN IN BLECH – an elite musical unit – was founded to combat the following negative states of mind in the modern world:
depression, sadness, boredom!
To arm this elite unit, various precision weapons of mass joy have been developed:
Mobility is the motto!
Men in Blech is a mobile band, walking act and marching band – which means that often troublesome concepts such as electricity, cables and microphones are not just foreign words to this Hamburg-based brass band; they are taboo. The stage is wherever the band happens to be playing.
MEN IN BLECH are low-maintenance!
Regardless of the venue or type of event – whether moving amongst the guests or providing a musical interlude – depending on weather conditions and distance, they’ll hop onto a bus, a camel or a donkey and be where the culture is to be shared in no time at all.
However,
what sets this band apart from the vast array of marching bands, mobile bands, musical walking acts and other music groups is the fact that MEN IN BLECH is the first – and so far the only – music show in the world whose musicians not only play professionally, but also DANCE THEMSELVES at the same time!! IN EVERY SINGLE NUMBER!
