Oliver Kalkofe

Oliver Kalkofe is a real talent with languages. This has also helped him to work his way up into the top ranks of German comedians.

He became famous through "Kalkofes Mattscheibe". He found the first suitable setting for his humorous talent in the Sunday cult show "Frühstyxradio" on Radio ffn in Lower Saxony, where he gave life to characters such as the smarmy storyteller "Onkel Hotte". For his favourite medium, television, Kalkofe created the award-winning TV satire "Kalkofes Mattscheibe". In the cinema, he landed two surprise hits with the Edgar Wallace parodies "Der WiXXer" and "Neues vom WiXXer".

Oliver Kalkofe writes his fortnightly media-critical column "Kalkofes letzte Worte" for the TV programme magazine "TV Spielfilm" and regularly writes "Kalkofes Klappe" for Kino.de.
