Rottaler Staatszirkus

The artists of the Rottaler Staatszirkus have years of experience as professional stilt walkers with a dance and clownish background. The varied and elaborate fantasy masks are lovingly handcrafted by the artists themselves. They work as a duo and can be booked by you as a perfectly coordinated pair of figures. The walking height of the high stilts is 80 cm. This height is perfect for the artists to have contact with their audience and to be able to touch them or give them gifts. With elaborate set-ups, however, they can also reach a height of up to 3.80 metres.

The two can be found at many different events as mobile and charming side entertainers, performing in city centres, parks, company grounds, garden shows, festivals, parades or private parties. They can also be booked as a welcome act for a wide variety of events and can also be used at any time of year. In winter, they perform at Christmas markets, Christmas fairs and various Christmas events.

On request, they can make soap bubbles or wind chimes float above their heads or play live music with accordion, soprano saxophone and vocals. Enjoy clownish world music with German, French and Russian folk songs and klezmer pieces performed in a comedic manner.

They also float and dance on their high stilts to harmonised background music from the band and enchant their audience.

The duo is also happy to work with other artists such as fire performers, musicians or jugglers. These collaborations can be planned for you or can also arise spontaneously during one of their events with various artists. They are happy to be photographed by and with their audience and adapt perfectly to your event in order to provide you with the best possible support.

The duo can perform 1 or 2 x 45 minutes within 3 hours, or 1 or 2 x 90 minutes within 5 hours.
