Comedy
In the early 1980s, the stage play "Badesalz" was created by Henni Nachtsheim and Gerd Knebel.
At the time, the Badesalz theatre was merely a sideline for the pair. The artists pursued the following main occupations at the time: Nachtsheim sang and played saxophone with the Rodgau Monotones, while Knebel sang and played in the band Flatsch. The first performance under the name Badesalz took place at Christmas 1982 in Frankfurt's Sinkkasten.
Badesalz also performed at the famous Rock am Ring festival in 1992. Over the years, three of their sketch shows have been shown on television: Och Joh (1990, Das Erste), Comedy-Stories (1999-2000, Sat.1) and since 2007 also on Comedy Central.
