Alexander Philipp Hahne is a trained musical theatre performer who studied classical singing at the Franz Liszt University of Music in Weimar; he works freelance as a singer, voice artist, actor, musician, storyteller and author.
With DOC MAC DOOLEY, he combines his love of folk music and Ireland with his profession. In the ‘Elven Hours’, we are carried on magical fairy winds into the traditional legends and fairy tales of the Celtic Otherworld. With the ‘IRISH STORIES CONCERT’, we experience thrilling storytelling combined with atmospheric folk songs, With the PARANORMAL SEMINAR, a special dinner-theatre event for fans of the mystical and the eerie, and musically, Alexander Hahne, together with his fiddle player, Jens Sachse, as the duo 2Bfolkish!, whisks us away to the pubs of the Emerald Isle.
Since 2013, the Year of the Brothers Grimm, the artist has released several solo fairy-tale musicals and radio play adaptations of traditional legends from the Celtic cultural sphere.
