Sachsenmeyer is undoubtedly one of the stalwarts of Saxon cabaret – he has been on stage for over thirty years, twenty of which were spent at his own venue in Chemnitz. In recent years, he has mainly been performing as a guest on stages across Saxony, but also throughout Germany.

His trademark is his blue Dederon smock and his distinctive Saxon dialect.

There’s always plenty to laugh about with him – whether he’s talking about himself and his job as a caretaker or about his ‘Gudste’. But what he has to say about the world and politics isn’t just daring – it often hits the nail on the head!

And – it goes without saying that the Saxons are ‘Saxon through and through’. Add to that the brilliant dialect – who can hold a candle to the Saxons?
