Mark Smith himself was supported - at the age of 17 - by the established producer Dieter Falk, which gave his career a big boost. Since then, he has always tried to give it back to new talent. Johannes Oerding is a good example of this: it took Mark a few years, many demos and gigs before a label signed the talented singer and it took another 4 albums and 6 years before most mainstream radio stations played a song. The first single hit was born ("Alles brennt") and since now (2019) Johannes and Mark have been creating together. After more hit singles and many gold and platinum awards, it will be very interesting to see how far this team can go!
