The presenter and comedian had been trying his hand at filmmaking since the early 1990s. Together with his brother and a few friends, he ended up making a whole series of cheaply produced "trash films", which were intended for the horror, science fiction or even action genres. Some of the films even made it to some fame, such as "Captain Cosmotic" from 1998, which, divided into shorter parts, was even broadcast by the former music channel VIVA Zwei.
The presenter and comedian first appeared on television in 2000 in the docusoap "WG Europa" on WDR television: Six young Europeans were filmed for a year as they lived in a shared flat. Simon Gosejohann was able to put his time in front of the camera to good use and applied for a trainee position with VIVA Zwei presenter Niels Ruf during the programme. He got the job and a little later he was even allowed to take over his own show at the station: the film magazine "Zelluloid". However, because the station was cancelled, he first switched to VIVA and finally launched the show "Comedystreet" in 2002, in which he took aim at unsuspecting passers-by with a hidden camera.
Simon Gosejohann also fought fierce battles with Stefan Raab's show intern Elton in the programme "Elton vs. Simon" - and later in "Elton vs. Simon - Die Show". The comedian and presenter is also a permanent member of the programme "Comedy-Falle". Book Simon Gosejohann for your event!
