Christian Gastl has been playing the saxophone since the age of ten, studied jazz/popular music at the Hamburg University of Music and Theatre and has been working as a freelance musician since 2014. He has already played at well over 1000 events in Germany and abroad, has gained experience in the big band, musical, theatre and opera context and is active both as a live and studio musician.
In Hamburg, he is regularly booked in renowned hotels and has performed, for example, at the ECHO awards ceremony in Berlin and together with Curtis Stigers at the ECHO Jazz in Hamburg.
Christian Gastl is open to customer requests and also enjoys performing in duets with the violonist and violist Francis Norman.
