Who doesn't know him? Pop singer Pietro Lombardi won the 8th season of the German casting show "Deutschland sucht den Superstar" (DSDS) in 2011. The then 18-year-old singer from Karlsruhe sang the winning song "Call My Name", composed by Dieter Bohlen, which had sold over 300,000 copies after one week and was awarded platinum. Lombardi's version of "Call My Name" reached number 1 in the charts in Germany, Austria and Switzerland; Lombardi's first album "Jackpot" followed on 27 May.
