Tobias Möllenbrink

Tobias studied in Münster and Dortmund and has been an integral part of the Münster music scene since the beginning of the millennium. He played with his bands for many years as the house band of the Münster jazz club "Hot Jazz Club" and can be heard there regularly. He performs with various ensembles, from the jazz duo "Klingt", the three-piece group "Trio Klingt" with jazz prize winner Christian Willeczelek or the funk bands "FUNKschaltung", "Lucky Leek" and "Home to Paris", as well as being a guest musician in various other ensembles. Since 2023, he has been offering the special format "MusikBlindDate" as a host.

A show can be a short performance of a few minutes, e.g. as a surprise act at a party, or live music lasting up to several hours. Whether subtle jazzy elements are in the foreground or the guests are to be "warmed up" for the dance floor depends on the event. Tobias will advise you in detail and professionally in preliminary discussions and put together a customised ensemble from his large network of musicians.
