Ball orchestra
The Berlin Show Orchestra sees itself as a modern orchestra that follows the ideas and visions of the organisers. As a commissioned orchestra, the instrumentation can be customised to the client's wishes. The orchestra can also be booked as an all-female orchestra.
The core competencies of the sustainably operating Berlin Show Orchestra include the individual creation of a show programme for events of any size and the accompaniment of national and international stars - including tour accompaniment or studio recordings.
The visual highlights include illuminated instruments, body projections and video projection mapping, drum shows, laser shows, dancing violin shows and aerial acts.
The production team's many years of experience coupled with surprising show highlights and international star guests guarantee an outstanding sound and a unique show.
The Berlin Show Orchestra is an official partner of visitBerlin (Berlin Marketing). Show programmes are being developed together and the Berlin Show Orchestra is being established as Berlin's new flagship. The new Berlin programme - from Marlene Dietrich to Iggy Pop, David Bowie to Seeed - celebrated its premiere at the Berlin Press Ball.
Classical meets modern - tradition meets digitalisation
The collaboration with one of Germany's most successful electronic music artists, Schiller, shows just how modern an orchestra can be.
At the Live Entertainment Award, the opening of the IGA and the DVD production, the Berlin Show Orchestra showed that classical instruments and melodies complement the electronic sounds of such a unique sound artist as Schiller wonderfully. A joint DVD recording was also made.
The reason for founding the Show Orchestra in 2015 was the production commissioned by Hessischer Rundfunk for the Day of German Unity. Over 10,000 enthusiastic spectators experienced the Berlin Show Orchestra with star guests such as Jimmy Somerville, Nik Kershaw and Howard Jones.
Lenn Kudrjawizki is the orchestra's producer and, as a trained violinist, actor and film director, is responsible for the staging and visual realisation of the show concepts.
The Berlin orchestra and its partners are organised sustainably and therefore received the support of the German Sustainability Award 2015 under the patronage of Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel.
