Florentin Chiran

He started playing the violin at the age of five and at nine he conducted the children's orchestra of the Central Army House in Bucharest. At the age of 14, he took part in international concert tours and played annually in Italy, Belgium, Holland and Turkey, among other places. At 17, he won first prize at the Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart Chamber Music Competition in Constanta, one year later he began his studies at the National Music University in Bucharest, and three years later he transferred to the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen, where he successfully graduated in 2000.

After his successful graduation, Florentin began an 18-year-long collaboration with Stage Entertainment, where he was engaged as concertmaster for the biggest musical productions in Germany. In 2011, he accompanied pianist Joja Wendt on his tour "Im Zeichen der Lyra" as organist and violinist. The two played 58 concerts together. With the English producer Jim Abbiss (Adele 19 and 22), he recorded two pieces by the rock group IAMX in a studio in Berlin, improvising the solos. In 2022 he accompanied Marianne Rosenberg on her tour Diva - Im namen der Liebe. In 2024: Engagement in the musical Abenteuerland at the Capitol Theatre Düsseldorf. In July 2024: Performance with Isabel Dörfler and Wolfgang Köhler at the first Interwar Music Festival in Bucharest (Radio Hall), accompanied by the Big Band Radio Romania. In 2025: Engagement in the musical Berlin Berlin on tour through Berlin, Vienna, Zurich, Leipzig, Baden Baden, Munich.
