Pop singer
After studying musical theatre in New York, Björn Landberg sang leading roles in the Disney productions "Beauty and the Beast" and "Tarzan" before embarking on a solo career as a pop singer, actor and dubbing artist.
Since then, he has thrilled audiences on TV and at live concerts with his impressive charisma and his energetic, danceable songs, mainly in German but also in English. He likes to be accompanied by two dancers who share his passion for the moment.
"For me, it feels completely natural to write and sing songs that have something exuberant in their lightness, that are upbeat, fun and convey a good mood. Emotional ballads that touch and vibrate the soul are just as important to me."
As a true crooner, Björn Landberg manages to evoke deep emotions with his velvety, masculine baritone voice and make them resonate. His understanding of language allows him to use words that speak plainly, with naturalness and style. He lives his life resolutely with the certainty of being himself. Björn Landberg possesses what the Americans call star power.
Especially when Björn Landberg performs live, the audience feels this effect of "tingling down the spine", particularly strong in his English-language solo programme "BJÖRN LANDBERG SINGT WELTHITS" with songs by Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Elvis, Engelbert or Neill Diamond - "Spanish Eyes", "Can't Help Falling In Love With You", "Strangers In The Night", "A Man Without Love", "Last Waltz".
Björn Landberg is considered an exceptional talent. His unique velvety voice that touches the soul and his special charisma inspire his audience straight away with his unmistakable stage presence.
